So I was watching the end of the Convention coverage tonight and was thinking how Obama's position of ordinary people doing extraordinary things is so out of the Doctor Who mantra. I might have a problem.

Up in Paso Robles because of work, and found a wireless connection, though its unstable. Though I realized I don't know the passwords for either of my email addresses, since they are still new. Oh well. Probably won't be around much with the drive back tomorrow and if I can get my hands on Apartment Life on the way, will be exploring that.

В "Идентификации Борна" мне очень понравилась героиня Франки Потенте, поэтому наблюдать за смертью ее героини в "Превосходстве Борна" мне не очень хотелось. Именно поэтому просмотр так надолго затянулся. :) Но теперь я довольна, что все-таки посмотрела. Интересно было узнать, с чего все начиналось. Теперь буду ждать очередную часть приключений Борна, которая, оказывается, все-таки будет. Точно не известно когда, но будет. :)

Well, I tried. 

There's live video of the DNC online so I turned it on. Why are people dancing around to 'Chain of Fools'? And why are the Jennifers there? (Garner & Alba) Is this a political event or an entertainment event? Or have we gone so far that there's not even a divide between the two anymore? Because for the life of me I cannot see what one thing has to do with the other. And wow, how creepy is it to see such a huge crowd of people screaming for Bill Clinton. And then they would not be quiet even when he asked them several times to please stop! So do they even really care about what he has to say? Or are they just making noise to make noise? 

And we're supposed to sit here and believe that this man - who so obviously did not care for Barack Obama just a few months ago - suddenly loves him to death? I don't care which party it is - why do we even HAVE these ridiculous events, where people have to smile and pretend like they like each other when in reality they probably can't stand each others guts? I cannot imagine the millions of dollars these events must cost. And in the end... what's it all really for?

If I live to be a hundred, I will never understand American politics.

I was doing some cleaning in my bedroom this morning and I found a little notebook that looked oddly familiar...it turned out to be my plot bunny notebook.

Basically every plot bunny that has ever popped into my head is in that book. I carried that book with me everywhere so that when inspiration stuck I wouldhnt forget what I was thinking about.

That notebook came with the swift realization that one of the main reasons I havent been feeling so great life wise is that I havent been doing somthing I really love to do...which is write. That little notebook with all it's scribble for one-shots and multi-chaper fics just made me feel so happy. I really made me realized why I've been so unhappy lately.

So I made the decision to actually turn some of these plot bunnies into fics.

I've also been hit with the pressing desire to go back to school. I want to go into Film Studies or maybe Screenwriting, all I know is I really need to get back in a classroom.

I totally watched Chasing Liberty today, and it is all the fault of dollsome and her burgeoning Matthew Goode obsession. Man alive. CHISELED, is the word I shall use to describe him. That and pants-meltingly-attractive.

I'm going to Ireland tomorrow! It's my auntie's 50th so we shall all be getting merry, and I'll get to see some of the cousins I haven't seen in person since the summer that S6 of Buffy came out on VHS (good times).

I just did a mini friend cut. I tried not to cut any people just communities. Mostly just to clean up my friends page to make it easier for me to read the interesting entries. If I cut you I promise it was an accident and I'm sorry. Let me know right away cause I don't want to miss any stellar entries.

I desperately needed to downsize my flist before school. It was hard, but I managed a little bit. Reasons I cut: if we never connected, if I never got to know you because you never posted, or we just grew apart. It happens. I keep my journal because I want to really get to know and understand my friends, I want to have a personal connection (as much as can be via a computer). If we met through a community (particularly ontd_muse), I'll still see you there! Feel free to remove me, no hard feelings.

Turns out I'm not going to Buffalo. My mom completely bailed, ugh I hate her when she does that. Last minute too, I just found out last night that we aren't leaving this morning. I'm picking another date to go during school, she better stick to it.

Picked up my schedule yesterday from school (ew), it's really good. I have classes with people I know and a half day on one of the day rotations so it's all good. I just have to find out who is in my math class and then I'm all set.

I have to get shots today, I hate needles! I also have a physio appointment and podiatrist appointment in the next two weeks, so we'll go to Buffalo after that.

How is everyone doing? Enjoying the last days of summer? It went by so quickly, and I didn't even do anything!

I dropped of my resume at Sunrise and HMV again, wish me luck! I should drop by more HMVs in the area and hand it in there too, I really want to work at a music store.

I've been a bad girl, I can't help myself but to look at spoilers :( Someone stop me! Also, whoever watched House season 4, why was it so bad? I'm worried about not liking it because everyone said it was crap.
